Welcome to Art & Potatoes, an online curated marketplace for discovering, selling, and reselling original artworks and unique objects. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Art & Potatoes, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced here.

2. Account Registration

To list or purchase artworks, you must register an account.

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Curation Notice: Art & Potatoes is a curated platform, and registration approval is subject to review. We reserve the right to decline or remove seller accounts or listings for the following reasons:

• Low-quality or insufficient product imagery or description
• Works that do not meet our aesthetic or creative standards
• Incomplete or misleading seller profiles
• Non-compliance with our listing requirements or community guidelines
• Suspected inauthenticity, counterfeiting, or copyright infringement
• Previous violations or negative customer experiences
• Failure to align with the vision and values of Art & Potatoes

We strive to foster a thoughtful, high-quality platform where every object and artist has intention and integrity behind their work.

3. Listing and Selling

• You may list original works or resell art you legally own.
• Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping their items.
• At least one product image must be on a white background.
• Art & Potatoes reserves the right to remove listings that violate our content policy or do not meet curation criteria.

4. Commissions and Payments

• Art & Potatoes takes a 20% commission from each successful sale.
• Payment processor fees (e.g. Stripe/PayPal) apply separately.
• Payouts are initiated 48 hours after delivery is confirmed, and may take 1–5 business days to reach your account.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

• Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings carefully before purchasing.
• Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and shown at checkout.
• Buyers must confirm delivery to initiate seller payouts.

6. Shipping

• Shipping is managed by our partner courier DPD.
• Sellers are responsible for proper packaging.
• Buyers receive tracking information once the shipment is arranged.

7. Disputes and Refunds

• In case of disputes, contact support@artandpotatoes.com within 48 hours of receiving your item.
• Returns and refunds may be issued at our discretion if damage or misrepresentation occurs.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Post or sell counterfeit or stolen items
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Harass or defraud users
• Interfere with the platform’s functionality
• Attempt to manipulate ratings, reviews, or search results
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees

9. Termination

Art & Potatoes reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms, poor quality standards, or any activity deemed inappropriate or harmful to the community.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
